Should you have a change of heart with regards to any item purchased, you are welcome to return the item to us for a full refund. However, should the piece be modified in any way (either through painting, or physically altering the piece) we will, unfortunately, be unable to offer you a refund.
Please note, that TRADE SECRET will not reimburse any delivery costs incurred – just the cost of the item itself.
We, TRADE SECRET, need to be notified of any damaged or incorrectly delivered goods within 7 days of the date of delivery to qualify for a full refund or exchange.
Please check that the correct items have been received, before signing for them – TRADE SECRET cannot be held responsible for any errors made by the delivery company.
Refunds will STRICTLY only be processed if the furniture is returned in its original protective cardboard wrapping. Unfortunately, we have experienced numerous cases where furniture is not properly protected in its original wrapping and arrives at our warehouse damaged.
Items may be taken on appro for 7 days, once we have received a 50% deposit. As we are sure you understand, any delivery costs incurred will not be covered by TRADE SECRET.
No items will be released from our store prior to receiving full payment (or a 50% deposit in the case of items taken on appro).
Trade discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any promotions we may be running at that time. However, you are most welcome to choose whichever discount percentage is higher so that you continue to benefit as much as possible.
All accounts must be settled via EFT. Should you wish to pay by card, please note that we will need to deduct 5% from the discount to cover bank fees (i.e. 15% is reduced to 10%, and 10% to 5% etc.).
In the event that your client pays TRADE SECRET directly, please calculate and submit your commission invoice based on the ex-VAT price.
The hire fee for one week is 20% of the retail price. The same rate applies to daily rental (i.e. if an item is hired for 3 days instead of 7, the price remains the same).
A holding cheque or a 20% refundable deposit is required prior to delivery/collection.
Should the furniture be returned in a damaged state, this deposit is forfeited.
Any delivery fees are not covered by TRADE SECRET.
